This coffee comes from third-generation coffee producer, Faiber Bolaños, who owns the 1.5 hectare farm La Esperanza. He also manages a 2.5 hectare farm which is owned by his mother. He has been farming since 1998 and is a member of a grower’s cooperative called Los Naranjos, which he joined in 2012. The group consists of about 50 smallholder farmers in and around the area of San Agustín, Huila. He also acts as coffee buying liaison for Los Naranjos and, as such, is involved in roasting and cupping the group’s coffees.

Faiber is a third-generation coffee producer and grows Pink Bourbon, Gesha, and Caturra coffee varieties. This offering is 100% Caturra variety - known for its sweetness and clarity of flavor. Like many coffees from across Colombia, this offering is a washed process. Largely because of both its variety and its processing, this coffee is soft and clean in the cup with a crisp, tangerine acidity. It offers brown sugar, green grape, apricot and mango flavors with a floral aroma and a round body.

This is a delicious coffee that we are excited to share with you!
