Shift Lead

Position Title: Shift Lead

Hours: Full-Time

Compensation: $15.25-$15.50 + Tips (see below for other benefits)

Barista Responsibilities:

Be a brand ambassador, exhibiting hospitality and genuine care for customers and co-workers
Demonstrate a stellar knowledge of BCR’s coffee and other offerings as well as policies and procedures
Prepare and serve amazing beverages
Prepare and serve delicious food in accordance with standard operating procedures
Cash handling/POS operation
Anticipate customer and coffee bar needs
Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines
Occasionally represent BCR at off-site events

Additional Shift Lead Responsibilities:

Manage all FOH staff on shift when Coffee Bar Manager is not present on floor
Proactively manage labor
Own guest service
Drive for sales results
Manage inventory/place vendor orders as needed
Manage food safety in preparation and service

Requirements:

Must love people
Must love coffee
Believes in and lives out BCR’s values
Possesses excellent communication skills
Must have customer-focused attitude
Must have ability to adapt to new situations
Flexible schedule (including early mornings, weekends and occasional evenings)
Must be approachable, mindful, and positive
Ability to receive constructive feedback in any given situation
Previous customer service leadership experience or previous Barista experience at BCR

*Position includes occasionally bending, lifting and carrying objects up to 50 pounds and frequently bending, lifting and carrying objects up to 20 pounds. Position also includes working while standing for long periods of time.*
